Ajman's DED Signs Two Agreements For Storage Of Seized And Reserved Goods

AJMAN, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News / WAM - 12th Sep, 2018) The Department of Economic Development – Ajman, DED, recently signed two strategic cooperative agreements with TAD Logistics Company and Al Shamali International Freight Services, SIFCO.
Under the terms of the agreement, the two companies will assist DED-Ajman in facilitating the transfer and storage of seized, damaged and counterfeit items. The new partnership demonstrates DED-Ajman's continued commitment towards establishing cooperation with the private sector in order to provide comprehensive and integrated services.
The signing ceremony, which was held at DED-Ajman premises, was signed by Abdullah Bin Nasser Al Nuaimi, Assistant Director-General for Economic Registration and Control at DED-Ajman; Rajesh Kotichi, General Manager at TAD Logistics; and Nasser Koti, General Manager at SIFCO.
The event was attended by some of the department's senior officials.
Commenting on the agreement, Al Nuaimi emphasised the importance of the agreement, which reflects the department's continuing move to reinforce its partnerships with the private sector, which is a key driver in achieving a competitive and highly diversified green economy.
The agreement aims at helping ensure a smooth process in the transfer and storage of counterfeit goods and materials that have been seized by DED-Ajman during its regular round of inspections across businesses and trade establishments in the emirate.
