Al Maktoum Foundation Carries Out Educational, Charity Projects In Burundi

Sheikh Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai and Minister of Finance, for his instant approval of building a school in Burundi in addition to initiating other projects in the education and other sectors in the country
BUJUMBURA, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News / WAM - 15th Mar, 2019) Gaston Sindimwo, First Vice President of Burundi, has extended thanks to H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai and Minister of Finance, for his instant approval of building a school in Burundi in addition to initiating other projects in the education and other sectors in the country.
This came as the Burundian senior official recently received a delegation of Al Maktoum Foundation, led by Mirza Al Sayegh, Member of the Foundation board of Trustees.
Al Sayegh lauded the Burundian authorities' cooperation and rapid positive response to the projects carried out by the Foundation, noting that this is the 5th school to be constructed by the Foundation in the African country.
"The Foundation is planning to establish an office to carry out and follow up its projects in Burundi," he added, hailing the robust relations between the UAE and Burundi.
