The Arab Monetary Fund, AMF, is hosting a high-Level conference on 'The Role of Cross-Border Payments in Fostering Regional Financial Integration' on 27th - 28th March, in Abu Dhabi
ABU DHABI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News / WAM - 20th Mar, 2019) The Arab Monetary Fund, AMF, is hosting a high-Level conference on 'The Role of Cross-Border Payments in Fostering Regional Financial Integration' on 27th - 28th March, in Abu Dhabi.
The 2-day event, will create an open dialogue among experts on the latest regional and global cross-border payment challenges and potential solutions.
The conference, organised in collaboration with the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit, GIZ, will gather speakers and industry leaders from international organisations, central banks, and global payment institutions such as the World Bank Group, European Central Bank, SWIFT, and Euroclear, amongst others, to discuss burning topics in this evolving industry.
The conference will tackle a diverse range of subjects starting from the future of regional cross-border payments to industry trends, predictions and innovations, as well as the role of technology in enabling regulatory bodies, promoting safety of financial infrastructure, and fostering regional integration and financial inclusion.
During this conference, the AMF will introduce its innovative solution to current challenges which aims to enhance regional financial infrastructures as an instrument to promote economic growth and integration in the Arab world, and to strengthen economic and trade ties with the rest of the world.
More than 300 representatives from the payments industry, financial services providers, senior officials from Arab ministries of finance and economy, central banks and monetary authorities and capital market authorities will participate in this conference.
