DUBAI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News / WAM - 14th Mar, 2019) Dubai Customs today organised a series of events to celebrate Emirati Children's Day, celebrated annually on 15th March.

Activities focused on children under the care of Dubai Customs' nursery and childcare centre, involving children's parents and employees.

A workshop was held introducing balanced character traits as part of the Emirati Children's Day celebrations, where children also exchanged gifts, and free medical check-ups were provided to the young individuals.

Commenting on the occasion, Khalil Saqer bin Gharib, Director of the Corporate Communication Department at Dubai Customs, said, "The UAE has always and continues to embrace children.

Since its union was founded 47 years ago, the UAE has offered great attention to children as they are considered one of the inherent values of the Emirati society. Championing the rights of our children will support the UAE Vision 2021 and the UAE Centennial 2071 project."

Dubai Customs held the celebratory events in response to H.H.
