Dubai Government Workshop Organises 'Happiness Carnival'

The Dubai Government Workshop has organised the 'Happiness Carnival' in cooperation with Grand Hyatt Group, with the participation of 40 institutes in private sectors
DUBAI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News / WAM - 20th Mar, 2019) The Dubai Government Workshop has organised the 'Happiness Carnival' in cooperation with Grand Hyatt Group, with the participation of 40 institutes in private sectors.
The event was a part of the celebration of the International Day of Happiness, celebrated worldwide on 20th March. The carnival aims to establish happiness and positive values among employees, while highlighting the leading role of the UAE in embodying happiness as a lifestyle and national culture.
Fahad Ahmed Al Raeesi, Deputy Executive Director of DGW, said, "We are delighted with the efforts of DGW to emphasise happiness as one of our priorities. We believe in its importance in the business environment as a supreme and fundamental goal that reflects positive results on both employees and customers. We identify the importance of cooperation between public and private sector institutions to consolidate the values of happiness and positivity. Through the launch and implementation of quality initiatives and the provision of distinguished services, the community awareness of happiness among employees and individuals is enhanced.
Furthermore, the objectives of the National Happiness and Positivity Charter, which state the importance of happiness as a humanitarian goal and a comprehensive approach to the development and well-being, are realised."
He added, "The workshop is keen to continue launching specific programmes and initiatives that reflect its commitment to the community and its efforts to adopt the values of happiness and positivity. This is in line with the country’s tendency to be a centre and a global destination for happiness. The workshop works within the government communities to achieve the objectives of the National Program for Happiness and Positivity to create a happy and productive work environment in various government and private institutions throughout the country."
Institutions participating in the carnival showcased their initiatives and services to workshop employees and provided them with special discounts, draws and prizes.
