ERC Holds Iftars In Refugee Camps In Western Taiz, Yemen

TAIZ, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News / WAM - 13th Jun, 2018) The Emirates Red Crescent, ERC, organised iftars in several refugee camps in Al Kadha, Western Taiz, which provided 1,100 meals, upon the directives of His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces.

Ihab Al Dahbaly, ERC Representative in Taiz, said that organising the iftars is part of the UAE’s efforts to provide humanitarian aid in Yemen, as per the directives of the wise leadership, and highlights the ERC’s ongoing efforts, especially during the Holy Month of Ramadan.

Al Dahbaly added that iftar meals were distributed to several families while the ERC organised a major iftar that was attended by hundreds of Yemenis, who thanked the UAE for supporting them.
