ERC holds mass iftar at Grand Mosque in Abyan, Yemen

ABU DHABI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News / WAM - 13th Jun, 2018) The Emirates Red Crescent (ERC) on Tuesday held a group iftar at the Grand Mosque in the coastal city of Shakra in the Yemeni province of Abyan, following the directives His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces.

The Mosque's Imam Ahmed Omar Al-Damaki, expressed his thanks to the ERC and the team of volunteers for the first-of-its-kind gesture.

The locals who attended the iftar also expressed their appreciation to the UAE and the ERC for their efforts to help Yemenis overcome the difficult conditions in the country.
