Etisalat Digital Unveils ‘Classroom Re-Imagined’ At GITEX Technology Week 2018

DUBAI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News / WAM - 18th Oct, 2018) Etisalat Digital is taking visitors to a journey into the education of the future using cutting-edge technologies that revolutionise and re-imagine what is possible inside the classroom.
Guided by the Apple Distinguished Educators and Apple Professional Learning Specialists, participants will be using iPads throughout their learning journey at Etisalat’s stand during GITEX Technology Week 2018.
Different educational levels – primary, secondary, and tertiary – will be accommodated throughout the day. The Primary level’s theme is ‘The Human Body’, while it would be ‘Space and Mission to Mars’ and ‘Biomimicry – Learning from Nature’ for the secondary and tertiary levels, respectively. Each experience is divided into four phases, namely Initiate, Participate, Celebrate and Co-Create, designed to last five to 10 minutes.

Apple Distinguished Educators share their expertise in integrating technology into learning and are active leaders from around the world helping other educators rethink what is possible with available technological tools to make learning deeply personal. Apple Professional Learning Specialists coach, mentor and support teachers in advancing their technology skills with an emphasis on innovation. They are able to communicate multiple dimensions of reimagining physical space, the curriculum, the delivery methods as well as the roles of the teacher and the learner.
Etisalat Digital is also offering an immersive classroom experience in collaboration with CENTURY Tech, a cloud-based education platform. The experience combines AI, cognitive neuroscience theories of how the brain learns and big data showcased in a traditional classroom setting. The methods demonstrated are flipped learning, blended learning, big data insights, AI recommendations and live interventions.
