German Delegation Briefed On Strategy Of Minister Of Infrastructure Development To Empower People Of Determination

DUBAI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News / WAM - 19th Mar, 2019) Dr. Abdullah bin Mohammed Belhaif Al Nuaimi, Minister of Infrastructure Development, today welcomed a German delegation led by Federal Government Commissioner for matters relating to persons with disabilities, Jurgen Dusel, and briefed them on the ministry's policies, programmes and initiatives to empower people of determination.

Highlighting the importance of the UAE hosting of the Special Olympics World Games Abu Dhabi 2019, Dr. Abdullah Al Nuaimi told the German delegation of the significant progress the UAE has made in empowerment of this important segment of the community to become productive forces in alignment with the UAE 2021 Vision.

''We, in the UAE, are striving to make the UAE one of the world's best models in the empowerment of this group and increase the opportunities for their inclusion in all domains according to the state policy,'' he added.

The German delegation lauded the efforts made by the UAE and the ministry, in particular, to take care and empower the people of determination and make them happy and productive agents.
