Hamad Al Sharqi Meets With Participants Of ‘7th Fujairah International Forum For Industrial Rocks And Mining’

Sheikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Fujairah, highlighted the support of the UAE, led by President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, for the mineral resources sector, as well as its keenness to issue laws and initiatives that aim to encourage investment in this sector

FUJAIRAH, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News / WAM - 18th Mar, 2019) H.H. Sheikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Fujairah, highlighted the support of the UAE, led by President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, for the mineral resources sector, as well as its keenness to issue laws and initiatives that aim to encourage investment in this sector.

Sheikh Hamad also affirmed the keenness of Fujairah to protect its natural resources, ensure sustainability, and monitor ways of investing in its natural resources, in line with the country’s strategic plans.

He made this statement while receiving the participants of the "7th Fujairah International Forum for Industrial Rocks and Mining," which was organised by Fujairah Natural Resources Foundation, under the slogan, "The UAE, the Land of Tolerance," and in cooperation with the Ministry of Energy and Industry and the Arab Industrial Development and Mining Organisation.

Sheikh Hamad welcomed the forum’s guests and wished them luck and success in creating resolutions that will encourage investment in the mining sector, as well as related research.

He also called on the forum’s guests to explore the experience of the UAE, especially Fujairah’s experience, in industrial mining, as well as to reinforce their joint cooperation in this area.
