Hungarian Minister Of Foreign Affairs Praises Abu Dhabi’s Role In Stimulating Economy

Peter Szijjarto, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade of Hungary, stressed that Abu Dhabi is attractive to foreign investments.

ABU DHABI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News / WAM - 13th Nov, 2018) Peter Szijjarto, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade of Hungary, stressed that Abu Dhabi is attractive to foreign investments.

This quality is due to its expansion, openness and economic diversification, which are the outcomes of its efforts to stimulate its economy and encourage growth, he added.

He also commended the UAE’s role in economic development and its leading positions in international sustainable energy indicators while expressing his happiness at the strong commercial and investment cooperation between the UAE and his country.

He made this statement while visiting, with his delegation, the Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry, where he was received by Ibrahim Al Mahmoud, First Deputy Chairman of the Chamber, with the attendance members of the chamber’s board of directors and Abdullah Al Qubaisi, Deputy Director-General of the Chamber.

Szijjarto highlighted Hungary’s desire to strengthen its partnership and commercial cooperation with the UAE, especially with the emirate of Abu Dhabi, to benefit the common interests of both countries.

Al Mahmoud welcomed the Hungarian delegation while affirming the importance of utilising the opportunities and capabilities that are available to both sides, to encourage mutual investments and strengthen their bilateral relations.

He also expressed the chamber’s desire to expand its economic ties, as well as its readiness to cooperate and increase its commercial exchange in promising sectors, which will achieve development while affirming that the meeting is a vital platform for promoting joint cooperation.

Ibrahim Al Khaja, member of the Board of Directors, explained the most important economic goals of the 'Plan Abu Dhabi 2030', as well as the emirate’s key projects in sectors of international importance, most notably the sustainable energy sector.
