Jawaher Al Qasimi Attends University Of Sharjah’s 19th Fall Semester Graduation

SHARJAH, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News / WAM - 20th Jan, 2019) H.H. Sheikha Jawaher bint Mohammed Al Qasimi, Wife of the Ruler of Sharjah and Chairperson of the Supreme Council for Family Affairs, attended the graduation ceremony of the University of Sharjah’s 19th fall semester 2018-2019 female graduates. A total of 700 students and received a variety of bachelors and diploma courses, in the presence of H.H. Sheikha Aisha bint Mohammed Al Qasimi, Member of the Advisory Committee of the Supreme Council for Family Affairs.
Also attending the ceremony were several members of the university’s board of trustees, Dr. Salama Al Rahoomi, Dean of Female Students’ Affairs, the university’s faculty and staff members, along with the students’ guardians.
Sheikha Jawaher congratulated the graduates for their accomplishments, while stressing the significance of 2019 as the Year of Tolerance in the UAE, and urging the graduates to use their morals for guidance in their daily lives. She also wished the graduates luck, congratulated their families, and thanked Professor Hamid M.K. Al Naimiy, Chancellor of the University of Sharjah, and the university’s faculty and staff members.
Dr. Al Rahoomi, on behalf of Professor Al Naimiy, congratulated H.
H. Dr. Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member, Ruler of Sharjah and President of the University of Sharjah, on the occasion. She also congratulated the graduates, their guardians and their professors.
She then briefed the attendees on the launch of the university’s new five-year strategic plan, which will extend from 2023 to 2024 and includes several international expansion and development projects, while highlighting the university’s recent accomplishments.
Dr. Al Rahoomi concluded by urging the graduates to support and meet the demands of their scientific and professional lives, and to have confidence in their experience and skills to serve the nation. She also invited them to join the university’s alumni association.
Sheikha Jawaher, Sheikha Aisha and Dr. Al Rahoomi then awarded the graduates their degrees.
Noura Rashid Al Housany, from the College of Communications, thanked the university’s faculty members and the students’ guardians for developing their knowledge, experiences and sense of responsibility, while stressing the value of the University of Sharjah in their hearts, as the place that welcomed them and enabled them to gain knowledge and succeed.
