MEXICO CITY, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News / WAM - 16th Mar, 2019) Marti Batres Guadarrama, President of the Senate of Mexico, has received Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Jarwan, President of the Global Council for Tolerance and Peace, in the presence of a number of Mexican senators and top officials and parliamentarians, here.

Al Jarwan, currently visiting Mexico, reviewed the latest developments with regards to the international role played by the Global Council for Tolerance and Peace.

The Mexican top parliamentarian articulated the Mexican Senate's support for the Council's efforts to promote tolerance and peace around the world.

Al Jarwan, along with his accompanying delegation, earlier met with Marcelo Ebrard, Mexican Secretary of Foreign Affairs, in the presence of UAE Ambassador Ahmed Al Manhali.
