Military Hardware At IDEX Will Make World "more Secure", Chechen President Ramzan Kadyrov

President of the Chechen Republic, Ramzan Kadyrov, has said that latest military equipment and defence products displayed at the International Defence Exhibition, IDEX, and Naval Defence, NAVDEX, will help make the world "more secure"
ABU DHABI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News / WAM - 18th Feb, 2019) President of the Chechen Republic, Ramzan Kadyrov, has said that latest military equipment and defence products displayed at the International Defence Exhibition, IDEX, and Naval Defence, NAVDEX, will help make the world "more secure".
Relating to the this year theme of the event "Defence for Security and Safety", he said, "The way the UAE organises this event, nobody else in the world can do."
The former member of the Chechen independence movement told the Emirates news Agency, WAM, in an interview at the IDEX, that large number of countries are attending and participating at the exhibition, showcasing "best weapons and military equipment."
"As a military man," the Chechen leader added, he is always interested in following up the latest developments in the defence industry. He thanked His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, for inviting him to attend the defence expo, saying, "I’m glad to be there.
I’ve seen new things that will help the world become more secure."
On its silver jubilee edition this year, IDEX 2019, highlights the UAE’s initiatives in achieving digital transformation aimed at enhancing the government’s performance and contributing to achieving the goals of UAE Centennial 2071 to become the best country in the world in all fields.
President Kadyrov was among the world leaders who attended the opening of the IDEX 2019 on Sunday. The global platform for the defence sector has attracted world's leading defence and security companies displaying their latest innovations, as well as featured international experts during its run from 17th to 21st February, 2019, at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre.
