The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation organised today a function to mark the International Francophonie Day

ABU DHABI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News / WAM - 21st Mar, 2019) The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation organised today a function to mark the International Francophonie Day.

The event brought together the ambassadors of member states in the Organisation internationale de la Francophonie (OIF), as well as local and strategic Francophonie partners.

The celebration of the day reflects UAE's commitment to the OIF's values, including social justice and peace, in addition to the shared development objectives, stated in the UAE Vision 2021 and the Organisation's programmes for 2015-2018.

The UAE was confirmed as a as a participating member of the OIF during the Francophonie Summit, held last October in the Armenian capital, Yerevan.
