Mohammed bin Rashid receives First Vice President of Costa Rica

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, received Epsy Campbell Barr, the First Vice President of Costa Rica, in the presence of H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai

DUBAI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News / WAM - 11th Feb, 2019) His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, received Epsy Campbell Barr, the First Vice President of Costa Rica, in the presence of H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai.

During the meeting, which was held on the sidelines of the World Government Summit, WGS, in Dubai, Sheikh Mohammed explored with Barr the important topics for discussion among the participants from 140 countries at the summit, which focus mostly on the human being and the means to provide him with modern and decent life in any part of the world.

Furthermore,Sheikh Mohammed and Barr witnessed the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding, MoU, between the UAE and Costa Rica through which the UAE will lend its expertise to Costa Rica to develop government work and performance.

The MoU was signed by Mohammad bin Abdullah Al Gergawi, Minister of Cabinet Affairs and The Future and Chairman of the WGS, and Maria del Pilar, Minister of Planning and Economic Policy in Costa Rica.

The meeting also touched on means of exchanging expertise between the UAE and Costa Rica and opening investment opportunities for Emirati businesses.

The meeting saw the attendance of H.H. Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Chairman of Dubai Civil Aviation Authority and Chairman and Chief Executive of Emirates Airline and Group; H.H. Sheikh Mansour bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum; Obaid bin Humaid Al Tayer, Minister of State for Financial Affairs; Khalifa Saeed Sulaiman; Director-General of Dubai’s Department of Protocol and Hospitality; and Juma Rashed Al Rumaithi, UAE Ambassador to Costa Rica.
