Noura Al Kaabi, Attends MiSK Art 2018 In Riyadh

RIYADH, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News / WAM - 04th Nov, 2018) Noura bint Mohammed Al Kaabi, Minister of Culture and Knowledge Development, today participated in MiSK Art 2018 of MiSK Institute of Arts, one of the initiatives of Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Foundation (MiSK). Organised in Riyadh on 30 October-3 November, the event is one of the largest initiatives to highlight the artistic movement and cultural orientation in the Kingdom.
Heading the country's delegation to the event, the minister was shown around the various pavilions, live performances and workshops organised as part of the showcase and expressed appreciation of the exhibition's goal to transform Riyadh into a city of art.
"We are delighted to be here in the brotherly Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The event provides a significant platform to reflect the value of arts in the society and acquaint the public with their paramount cultural role," she said.
"Saudi artists boast impressive potential and talent that qualify them to vie internationally across key world events in furtherance of the Kingdom Vision 2030 aimed at building robust human capacities and nurturing talent," she added.
Speaking to Emirates news Agency (WAM), the minister underscored the progressive development in bilateral relations between the UAE and Saudi Arabia across all fields in line with the historical kinship ties between the two countries.
She also underlined the UAE's readiness to develop new partnerships and launch joint ventures bringing together Saudi and UAE talent to reflect the deeply-rooted cultural legacy of the two countries.
The minister concluded her tour by attending an awards ceremony honouring Saudi plastic arts pioneers at the Palace of Culture in the presence of Prince Badr bin Abdullah bin Mohammed bin Farhan Al-Saud, Minister of Culture and a number of dignitaries.
