Ruler Of Fujairah Underlines Central Importance Of National Media

FUJAIRAH, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News / WAM - 19th May, 2019) H.H. Sheikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Fujairah, has underlined the paramount importance of the national media in conveying a fair, objective and reliable account of world news and keeping pace with the rapid, multifaceted developments around the world in a way that further cements the prestigious status boasted by the UAE.

Sheikh Hamad highlighted as well the significant responsibility assumed by the national media toward educating various segments of society on the latest regional and international developments.

The Ruler made the remarks as he welcomed today a delegation of the heads of media outlets in the country on the occasion of Ramadan.

H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Crown Prince of Fujairah, attended the reception.

Sheikh Hamad expressed full trust in the national media's capabilities to protect national gains and safeguard the deep-rooted values and rich heritage of UAE while seeking to modernise media content in line with world developments.

In the meantime, Sheikh Hamad continued to receive a number of Sheikhs, dignitaries, senior officials, tribesmen and members of the Arab, Islamic and foreign communities in the emirate and exchanged with them greetings on the Holy Month.
