SCC Reviews Bill On Civilians’ Human Resources Statutory Bodies

SHARJAH, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News / WAM - 06th May, 2021) The Committee on Legislative and Legal Affairs, Appeals, Suggestions and Complaints in the Sharjah Consultative Council (SCC) examined a bill on civilians’ human resources in Sharjah statutory bodies in a meeting held at the council’s headquarters.
Dr. Shaheen Ishaq Al Mazmi, Chaired the meeting of the committee. He also praised the members for approving the committee amendments during the session.
Al Mazmi pointed out that the current bill on Civilians’ Human Resources in statutory bodies is one of a series of bills presented to the SCC, which are associated with the Police Force Draft Law and its relation to Sharjah Police General Command, the Sharjah Police academy and the General Directorate of Civil Defence.
The committee reviewed the various regulatory articles of the bill including the scope of application of the law, functions, organisation, recruitment mechanisms, retiree appointments, appointment conditions, training, rights, salaries, bonuses, and benefits, among others.
