SEC Reviews Directorate Of Housing’s Memorandum On Installation Of Fire Alarm Systems

(UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News / WAM - 16th Oct, 2018) SHARJAH, 16th October, 2018 (WAM) – H H. Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Crown Prince, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah, and Chairman of the Sharjah Executive Council, SEC, chaired a meeting of the council at the Ruler’s Office in Sharjah on Tuesday.
The council reviewed a number of issues on its agenda concerning the emirate's various affairs and issued a number of resolutions aimed at helping the Emirate of Sharjah achieve its vision of providing the best services to citizens and residents in its various cities and regions.
The council also reviewed the memorandum of the Sharjah Directorate of Housing on the installation of fire alarm systems in public housing.
Khalifa Musabah Al Tunaiji, Chairman of the Directorate of Housing, pointed out that the project is an implementation of the directives and wise vision of H.H. Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohamed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, and is aimed at installing fire detectors and fire alarms in the directorate’s ongoing public housing projects.
Al Tunaiji also highlighted the importance of coordinating with the General Directorate of Sharjah Civil Defense and stressed that the Directorate of Housing works constantly with several concerned entities to ensure the implementation of the project.
At the meeting, Al Tunaiji presented a number of recommendations regarding the installation of early-warning fire system in homes.
The council also discussed the proposals made by the Sharjah Roads and Transport Authority regarding the development of road infrastructure in a number of areas and cities within the emirate through the provision of required services. This comes in line with the SEC’s keenness to provide the best services to road users in the emirate’s various cities and regions.
