SHARJAH, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News / WAM - 23rd Feb, 2019) Sharjah Airport Authority, SAA, participated in Air Cargo Africa 2019, which was held in Ekurhuleni, South Africa from 19th to 21st, February. SAA showcased Sharjah Airport’s latest services and facilities.
The biennial event, one of the air cargo industry’s most important exhibitions, is an ideal platform to meet with experts, decision-makers and executives from Africa and other parts of the world.
Representatives of international airports and shipping companies and agents participated in this year’s Air Cargo Africa, which provided participants and attendees with an opportunity to exchange views and opinions on the latest trends and developments in the global air cargo industry.
Africa is a promising market for air cargo movement. Many companies are seeking an increasing share of this steadily-growing market, which makes it necessary to strengthen existing partnerships with companies and airports and to find new companies to boost the movement of cargo through Sharjah Airport, which connects Africa to the European and global markets.
SAA’s participation in this exhibition was an opportunity to showcase the latest services, innovations and facilities provided by Sharjah’s Air Freight Centre, which meets the requirements of various international freight forwarders. It was also a chance to learn about other experiences, to enhance joint cooperation and to review the expansion of the terminal at Sharjah Airport.
