UAE Foreign Minister, Argentina's counterpart fostering cooperation

H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, has met with Jorge Faurie, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Worship of Argentina, in Buenos Aires

BUENOS AIRES, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News / WAM - 20th Mar, 2019) H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, has met with Jorge Faurie, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Worship of Argentina, in Buenos Aires.

At the meeting, which is part of Sheikh Abdullah's official visit to Argentina, the two sides exchanged views on the latest developments in the region and a number of regional and international issues of common concern.

Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed commended the distinguished relations between the UAE and Argentina, highlighting the UAE interest in fostering cooperation between the two countries in all sectors.

For his part, Faurie welcomed Sheikh Abdullah's visit, praising the UAE-Argentina ties and the leading stature enjoyed by the UAE at regional and international levels.

Following the meeting, Sheikh Abdullah and Minister Faurie signed a diplomatic training agreement between the two countries. They also witnessed the signing of an Memorandum of Understating between the Emirates news Agency, WAM, and the Argentine National News Agency, Telam.

His Highness received from Faurie a written letter from President Mauricio Macri of the Argentine Republic to His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, inviting him to visit Argentina.

The Argentinian Minister held a luncheon in honour of Sheikh Abdullah.

The meeting was attended by Saeed Rashid Al Zaabi, UAE Ambassador to Argentina, and Fernando De Martini, Argentinian Ambassador to the UAE.
