UAE-funded Al Mawasit Hospital Continues To Provide Services To Patients In Yemen

TAIZ, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News / WAM - 17th Mar, 2019) Al Mawasit Rural Hospital in Taiz Governorate, Yemen - which was recently re-operated with the support of the UAE through its humanitarian arm, the Emirates Red Crescent, ERC - has continued to provide its medical services free of charge to Yemeni citizens in Al Mawasit District, and other villages and directorates.
After two weeks of reopening, around 3,000 Yemenis were provided with health care by the hospital, of which, more than 79 cases have undergone operations ranging from major to minor.
Dr. Abdel Mqbel Saif, Director of the Al Mawasit Rural Hospital, said that the number of patients visiting the hospital is increasing day after day. He explained that they receive good health care in the fields of laboratory tests, obstetrics, gynecology, otolaryngology, and surgery, as well as the pharmacy that supplies them with the medicine.
Dr. Saif thanked the UAE for continuing to provide assistance to Taiz Governorate.
