Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Tolerance, said that Emirati Children’s Day will celebrate the UAE’s commitment to supporting children and developing their skills and talents.

ABU DHABI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News / WAM - 14th Mar, 2019) Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Tolerance, said that Emirati Children’s Day will celebrate the UAE’s commitment to supporting children and developing their skills and talents.

In a speech marking the annual occasion celebrated on 15th March, Sheikh Nahyan thanked the 'Mother of the UAE', H.H. Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak, Chairwoman of the General Women's Union, President of the Supreme Council for Motherhood and Childhood, and Supreme Chairwoman of the Family Development Foundation, due to her vision and directives and her ongoing efforts to support children.

"As we celebrate Emirati Children’s Day, we are proud of the wise vision of the Mother of the UAE to overcome the hurdles to raising children in a correct way, as well as to support their mothers and families according to the best international practices," he added.

"We, in the UAE, are moving forward with commitment and persistence in the footsteps of the Founding Father, the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, to achieve overall social development and raise our children in the correct way. The Founding Father said that we all have a national responsibility to raise our children to be free thinking and meet the requirements of the modern era in a smart way," he said.
