UAE participates in Arab Sustainable Development Week in Cairo

The UAE is participating in the 2nd edition of the Arab Sustainable Development Week that started on Monday at the Arab League's headquarters under the patronage of the Egyptian President, Abdel Fattah el-Sisi.

CAIRO, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News / WAM - 19th Nov, 2018) The UAE is participating in the 2nd edition of the Arab Sustainable Development Week that started on Monday at the Arab League's headquarters under the patronage of the Egyptian President, Abdel Fattah el-Sisi.

The opening ceremony was attended by the Arab League Secretary General, Ahmed Aboul-Gheit; Dr. Hala Al-Saeed, Egypt's Minister of Planning, and representatives of the Arab countries.

The UAE delegation included Malik Al Madani, Director of Competitiveness Strategy Department at the Federal Competitiveness and Statistics Authority and a number of officials.

Dr. Al-Saeed stressed that the activities of the event aimed at coordinating and cooperating to achieve the goals of sustainable development 2030 and enhance partnerships to achieve the goals of the Arab societies and find solutions to sustainable development issues in the Arab region.
