UAE Participates In Ports, Navigation Fair In Ireland

Dr. Abdullah bin Mohammed Belhaif Al Nuaimi, Minister of Infrastructure Development and Chairman of the Federal Transport Authority-Land and Maritime, FTA, chaired the UAE delegation participating in the three-day fair for maritime navigation and ports in Ireland.

DUBLIN, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News / WAM - 19th Sep, 2018) Dr. Abdullah bin Mohammed Belhaif Al Nuaimi, Minister of Infrastructure Development and Chairman of the Federal Transport Authority-Land and Maritime, FTA, chaired the UAE delegation participating in the three-day fair for maritime navigation and ports in Ireland.

The delegation includes representatives of the FTA, Abu Dhabi Ports, the Ports Authority in Sharjah, the Transport Department in Abu Dhabi, and the Ports and Customs Department in Ajman.

Dr. Al Nuaimi said that the UAE’s participation in the fair is part of its efforts to promote its leading position in the area of maritime transport, which is a vital component of the national economy.

He added that the visit also aims to promote bilateral trade between the UAE and Ireland, especially in the area of port infrastructure, as well as establish ties between the FTA and Irish companies, and implement joint initiatives in the port and maritime sectors, by creating future partnerships and cooperation agreements with relevant universities and institutions.
