UAQ Executive Council, WAM discuss media cooperation

The General Secretariat of Umm Al Qaiwain Executive Council, has discussed with the Emirates News Agency, WAM, ways of reinforcing their joint media cooperation and strengthening their communication, supported by the wise leadership

UMM AL QAIWAIN, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News / WAM - 16th Apr, 2019) The General Secretariat of Umm Al Qaiwain Executive Council, has discussed with the Emirates news Agency, WAM, ways of reinforcing their joint media cooperation and strengthening their communication, supported by the wise leadership.

Their discussion took place during a coordination meeting that was held today at the council’s headquarters, which was attended by Humaid Rashid Al Shamsi, Secretary-General of the Council, and Mohammed Jalal Al Rayssi, Executive Director of WAM, along with officials from both sides.

During the meeting, both sides discussed how to highlight the emirate’s development process and relevant projects in various sectors, as well as how to cover events hosted by the emirate during the Year of Tolerance.

Al Shamsi stated that the programmes and objectives launched by the council’s Media Office are in line with the UAE’s media vision while highlighting his keenness to implement joint cooperation programmes and exchange expertise with WAM.

He also expressed his appreciation for WAM’s efforts to support the country’s media sector and convey its message to the world.

Al Rayssi stated that the UAE has become a unique model of a journey of accomplishments and pioneering in all sectors, in light of the support of the leadership.

He also pointed out that Umm Al Qaiwain, as per the directives of H.H. Sheikh Saud bin Rashid Al Mu'alla, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Umm Al Qaiwain, is achieving development and launching many leading initiatives while affirming that WAM is keen to perform its media related role and highlighting the emirate’s accomplishments and initiatives, which are integral to the UAE’s advancement.
