Workshop On Child Protection

SHARJAH, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News / WAM - 17th Mar, 2019) In conjunction with the Emirati Children's Day, the Sharjah Children of Rubu’ Qarn Foundation for Creating Leaders and Innovators, organised a workshop on the importance of child protection and the rights given to children by the country.

Titled "The Hand of the Nation Protects Me" the workshop was held at the Children's Centres in Halwan, Central Region and Khorfakkan in the Eastern region.

The workshop aimed to introduce children to the efforts of the homeland and the rights it offers them, the concept of the potential danger of the triangle of danger, negligence, violence and exploitation, mechanisms of dealing and seeking assistance in case of encountering any danger inside or outside the country, in addition to the importance of understanding their rights in the family and society, and instilling values of tolerance and solidarity among children.

In this context, Aisha Ali Al Kaabi, Acting Director of Sharjah Children's Centres, said: "Every year, as we celebrate this day with our dear children, we review our programmes to provide more and more advanced services. We draw strength and confidence from the support of our wise leadership."
