Zayed Humanitarian Work Day Celebrates Nation’s Loyalty To Sheikh Zayed: Khalid Bin Zayed

Zayed Humanitarian Work Day is a celebration of the nation’s loyalty to the principles of the UAE's Founding Father, the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, according to Sheikh Khalid bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Zayed Higher Organisation for Humanitarian Care and Special Needs

ABU DHABI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News / WAM - 23rd May, 2019) Zayed Humanitarian Work Day is a celebration of the nation’s loyalty to the principles of the UAE's Founding Father, the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, according to Sheikh Khalid bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Chairman of the board of Directors of Zayed Higher Organisation for Humanitarian Care and Special Needs.

He also said that the UAE's leadership and people are following Sheikh Zayed's values and principles.

In a statement on the Zayed Humanitarian Day, which falls on 19th Ramadan, he said that the day is a milestone in the nation’s journey and is a celebration of Sheikh Zayed’s humanitarian approach, which is a source of inspiration to the entire world.

He added that the country’s celebration aims to highlight the journey of Sheikh Zayed, who was a unique icon of humanitarian work that served the humanity as a whole.

Emiratis are proud to be called Zayed’s children, as he achieved many accomplishments and enabled the UAE to be the largest donor of official development aid, he said.

"We will not forget the achievements of Sheikh Zayed and his unique model of morality, values, and generosity," Sheikh Khalid said.

He also stressed the UAE's keenness to support the humanitarian works across the globe, initiated by Sheikh Zayed.
