PNCA To Screen Historical Uzbek Film "Islam Khuja" Tomorrow

ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 20th Jan, 2019 ) :Pakistan National Council of the Arts (PNCA), the Embassy of the Republic of Uzbekistan and Office of the Mayor of Islamabad will screen Historical Movie "Islam Khuja" here on January 21 at PNCA Auditorium.

The film highlights the events from the Khorezm Kingdom, at the end of 19th and the beginning of 20th Century. The story of the film revolves around the investigation of a young researcher on the mysterious death of the Great leader islam Khuja, who served as the last Khiva Khan (King).

The movie is based on real historical facts and documentaries connected to islam-khoja � the man who is intelligent and educated.

He is able to capture trends in the development of modern society and convinced of the need for socio-economic transformation in Khiva.

This activity Islam Khodja caused discontent conservative circles, fearing that the changes in the life of the Khivan Khanate blow to their political influence and economic position.

The film screening is part of regular activities of PNCA as every month such film screenings are held at PNCA featuring culture and traditions of different countries to engage the audience of twin cities of Rawalpindi and Islamabad in healthy activities as well as understand the cultural values of other communities, said the organizers.
