Tokyo stocks close higher

Tokyo, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 14th Jun, 2021 ) :Tokyo stocks closed higher on Monday, tracking gains on Wall Street, with investors focusing on a Federal Reserve meeting this week.

The benchmark Nikkei 225 index rose 0.74 percent, or 213.07 points, to end at 29,161.80, while the broader Topix index gained 0.29 percent, or 5.73 points, to 1,959.75.
