Tokyo's Nikkei Falls More Than 3% In Afternoon Trade

Tokyo, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 11th May, 2021 ) :Tokyo's benchmark Nikkei index plunged more than three percent Tuesday afternoon as tech shares were hit by selling pressure following a plunge in the Nasdaq on Wall Street.
The Nikkei 225 index sank 3.01 percent, or 887.29 points, to 28,631.05, while the broader Topix dropped 2.35 percent, or 45.85 points, to 1,906.42.
