1 Dead, Several Injured In Khairpur Bus Overturn On National Highway

ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 20th Jul, 2025) At least one person was killed and several others, including women and children were critically injured when a passenger bus overturned on the Gambat National Highway in Khairpur district early Sunday morning.

According to Police, the bus lost control and flipped over, claiming one life on the spot while other over 40 injured, a private news channel reported.

The incident took place while the bus was en route from Karachi to Swabi and authorities quickly responded to the scene.

Several other passengers, including those critically injured were rushed to nearby hospitals for medical treatment. The authorities have launched an investigation into the cause of the accident.

Police further confirmed that five individuals are in critical and serious condition.

Rescue teams, along with local police, reached the site shortly after the accident was reported and began providing aid to the victims.
