1 Die, 3 In Critical Condition After Consuming Spoiled Food

BAHAWALNAGAR, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 10th Aug, 2024) Six siblings from the Cheet Singh area of Bahawalnagar fell ill after consuming spoiled food, on Friday.

According to detail, a 4-year-old child, Ali Asghar, lost his life, while three other children remain in serious condition.

Father, Muhammad Yaqoob said that his children's condition got deteriorated after consuming the food and milk.

The affected siblings included 13-year-old Hasnain Ali, 11-year-old Muhammad Raza, 9-year-old Mudassar Hasan, and 7-year-old Ali Akbar along with 5-year-old Iman Fatima, they were rushed to the hospital for medical treatment.

Despite the efforts of the medical staff, 4-year-old Ali Asghar passed away.

The three other children, Hasnain Ali, Muhammad Raza and Mudassar Hasan are in critical condition and under treatment.

The local authorities have launched an investigation into the incident to determine the exact cause of the food poisoning.
