11 Candidates Fined For Violating Code Of Conduct

Eputy Commissioner Abbottabad, Syed Fayaz Shah Wednesday imposed heavy fines on 11 national and provincial assembly candidates of district Abbottabad for violating code of conduct issued by the Election commission of Pakistan (ECP).
ABBOTTABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 18th Jul, 2018 ) :Deputy Commissioner Abbottabad, Syed Fayaz Shah Wednesday imposed heavy fines on 11 national and provincial assembly candidates of district Abbottabad for violating code of conduct issued by the Election commission of Pakistan (ECP).
The DC, on reports of monitoring teams, imposed 50,000 rupees fine on each candidate including Ali Khan Jadoon of PTI, Haji Ayaz Khan of PRHP, Malik Mohabat Awan of PML-N, Haji Muhammad Irshad of ANP and independent candidate Shaukat Tanooli for NA-16 Abbottabad II.
The other candidates found guilty of violation of ECP code of conduct from PK-39 included Mushtaq Ahmed Ghani of PTI, Anayat Khan Jadoon of PML-N, Amjad Khan MMA, Shahid Raza ANP, Sajjad Akbar and Amjad Shahzaman independent candidates, were fined Rs. 50,000.
Deputy Commissioner Abbottabad Syed Fayaz Shah also warned the contesting candidates to follow the ECP code of conduct otherwise next time more strict action would be taken against them.
