12 New Ministers Inducted Into Punjab Cabinet

Twelve new ministers were inducted into the Punjab cabinet during a solemn ceremony at the Governor's House on Wednesday.
LAHORE, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 12th Sep, 2018 ) :Twelve new ministers were inducted into the Punjab cabinet during a solemn ceremony at the Governor's House on Wednesday.
Punjab Governor Ch Muhammad Sarwar administered oath to the newly-appointed provincial ministers after Punjab Chief Secretary Akbar Hussain Durrani read out the order of the appointment of the ministers.
Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar attended the ceremony besides Provincial Ministers Abdul Aleem Khan, Raja Basharat, Mian Aslam Iqbal, Ch Zaheeruddin, Raja Ammar Yasir, Murad Rass and Mohsin Leghari. Deputy Speaker Punjab Assembly Sardar Dost Muhammad Mazari was also present.
The MPAs who took oath as ministers include: Pir Syed Saeed ul Hassan Shah (Auqaf and Religious Affairs), Mehar Muhammad Aslam (Cooperatives), Syed Hussain Jahania Gardezi (Management and Professional Development), Muhammad Ajmal (Social Welfare and Baitul Mal), Muhammad Akhlaq (Special education), Ms Ashifa Riaz (Women Development), Shoukat Ali Laleka (Zakat and Usher), Zawar Hussain Warraich (Prisons), Ijaz Masih (Human Rights and Minority Affairs), while Mian Khalid Mehmood, Muhammad Jahanzaib Khan Khichi and Muhammad Akhter were not assigned any ministry.
The ceremony was attended by Punjab Inspector General of Police (IGP) Muhammad Tahir, senior civil servants, parliamentarians,lawyers, journalists and members of thecivil society.
