121 Arrested In Crackdown Against Profiteers In Peshawar

District administration has accelerated crackdown against profiteers and has arrested 121 more persons from different parts of the district.
PESHAWAR, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 13th Jun, 2018 ) :District administration has accelerated crackdown against profiteers and has arrested 121 more persons from different parts of the district.
In this connection, on the directives of the Deputy Commissioner (DC) Peshawar, Dr, Imran Hamid Sheikh, the Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC), Shahid Ali Khan along with Additional Assistant Commissioners (AACs) Islahuddin and Hamayun Khan carried out checking of shops in Gulbhar, G.T. Road, Nishterabad, Hashtnagri and Sikandapura and arrested 43 persons for profiteering and displaying goods outside their shops.
Similarly, AACs Irfan Ali and Najidullah conducted raids in Mathra, Pajgi Road and Chamkani and arrested 33 persons for profiteering while AACs Saeedullah Jan and Niamatullah Khan Kundi nabbed 28 more profiteers from Badhber, Kohat Road, Mathani andUrmar areas. Furthermore, 17 more profiteers were arrested from Tehkal,University Road and University Town areas.
