1,284 'criminals' Arrested In Faisalabad

FAISALABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 18th Mar, 2018 ) ::The police have arrested 1,284 alleged criminals from Faisalabad during March so far. Police spokesman Amir Waheed said here Sunday that among the arrested criminals include 571 proclaimed offenders, 258 drug-traffickers, 165 gamblers, 143 illicit weapon holders, 118 target offenders and 29 court absconders.
The police also recovered stake money of Rs136,924, 111 pistols, 15 guns, eight rifles, five Kalashnikovs, two revolvers, two daggers, a number of bullets/cartridges, 52.812 kilograms of charas, 1.250 kilograms of opium and 3,415 litres of liquor from them, he added. APP/aar/ia/rsdm
