13 Fair Price Shops Set Up For Uninterrupted Flour Supply In Islamabad

ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 23rd Jan, 2020 ) :The Islamabad Capital Territory Administration (ICTA) has set up 13 fair price shops across the city to ensure the uninterrupted wheat flour supply to the masses at official rates.
"Special teams were paying surprise visits to the shops as well on flour mills to control the hoarding," Deputy Commissioner Islamabad, Hamza Shafqaat told APP on Thursday.
Refuting the news regarding wheat flour crisis in the Federal capital, DC said all the arrangements have been made to tackle the situation if it occurs, adding that strict instructions have been issued to Islamabad-based flour mills owners to ensure the supply at the shops.
"The flour mills were only allowed to stock maximum 500 flour bags, exceeding it law will take its course," Shafqaat remarked.
He appealed the citizens not to pay heed to rumours that Islamabad facing flour shortage and lodge the complaints with deputy commissioner office if found any violation in that regard.
The price shops included Chaudhray Traders G-7, Liaqat Traders near Lal-Mosque G-6/1, Madina Rice Traders and Shoukat Abbasi Traders, G-9 Markaz, Al-Khair Traders, G-11 Markaz, Mazar Discount Centre I-8/1, AB Traders, service road Badia Mera, Wasim Traders, Golra Sharif, Umer Jameel Karyana Store, Sangjani, Malik General Store, Aqeel Plaza street, Bilal Town, Khanapul, Zafar General store, Main Bazar Rawat, Jahangir Brothers, Barakahu and Awan General Store, Koral.
