HYDERABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 2nd Aug, 2024) A 13 years old boy electrocuted to death after mistakenly touching fallen wire of 11,000 KV in Sikandarabad Colony in Kotri, Jamshoro district, here on Friday.

According to the police and family sources, the 11,000 KV transmission wire of Hyderabad Electric Supply Company had broken and fallen on the road on Friday morning.

They claimed that despite repeated complaints the concerned staff of HESCO did not repair the wire.Family of deceased Muhammad Ali Chandio told the police that the boy mistakenly stumbled upon the fallen wire on the road.

Taking notice of the incident, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of HESCO Roshan Ali Otho suspended the concerned Line Superintendent Gulzar Soomro. The CEO also formed a committee to probe the incident.
