14 Policemen Martyred In D I Khan This Year: Report

At least 14 policemen have been martyred this year in terrorism and target killing incidents in Dera Ismail Khan, a police report said on Tuesday.
DERA ISMAIL KHAN, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 23rd Oct, 2018 ) :At least 14 policemen have been martyred this year in terrorism and target killing incidents in Dera Ismail Khan, a police report said on Tuesday.
The report said mostly policemen were the target of terror acts and total number of policemen martyred in such incidents was 55 since 2006.
It said the number of police officials martyred in Dera Ismail Khan was second to Peshawar.
During current year 41 people have been martyred in terrorism and sectarian related incidents in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa including in D I Khan.
These incidents of terrorism, sectarianism and militancy were reported from Peshawar, D I Khan, Hangu, Kohat and other districts of the province.
In Dera Ismail Khan 155 police personnel have sacrificed their lives for cause of the nation since 2006.
