14 Unregistered Factories Sealed In Lasbella

Director General Environment Protection Balochistan Captain (R) Mohammad Tariq Zehri Thursday said 14 factories have been sealed in the light of the orders of Chief Minister Balochistan Jam Kamal Khan on the public complaint in Hub and Windar area of Lasbella district.

QUETTA, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 15th Nov, 2018 ) :Director General Environment Protection Balochistan Captain (R) Mohammad Tariq Zehri Thursday said 14 factories have been sealed in the light of the orders of Chief Minister Balochistan Jam Kamal Khan on the public complaint in Hub and Windar area of Lasbella district.

He expressed these views while talking to "APP" here today.

He said that toxic smoke and particles derived from these factories increasing environmental pollution.

"Under the Environmental Act 2012, all factories are bound to register with relative authorities, He added.

He said that strict action would be taken against those people who were hunting sporadic birds in the respective areas and in this regard all the inspectors of the Department of Environment have been issued orders to ensure implantation of act environmental.

Muhammad Tariq urged owners of factories to follow act of environmental protection and should register their factories for betterment of citizens in the area.
