16 Deaths In 10 Months :mobility Of Bikers Without Helmet Banned On Mall, Peshawar Road

The City Traffic Police (CTP) on Thursday imposed a complete ban on the entrance of motorcyclists without helmet on Peshawar & Mall Road.

RAWALPINDI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 15th Nov, 2018 ) :The City Traffic Police (CTP) on Thursday imposed a complete ban on the entrance of motorcyclists without helmet on Peshawar & Mall Road.

The Deputy Commissioner Rawalpindi in an officially notified instructions, on the request of City Traffic Officer (CTO) in the interest of public safety on roads, issued these directives to enforce them henceforth.

The directives further contains that it was a last option to control human life loss as 16 people have been killed in last 10 months in 46 accidents on these roads. A number of them severely injured as well.

An official of the City Traffic Police said the directives were circulated toensure strict compliance to protecthuman lives and strict action will be taken against the violators.
