1820 Patients Recover From Covid-19' In Attock

As many as 1,820 coronavirus patients recovered from novel coronavirus (Covid-19) across the district so far, the district Health Department said. According to the data shared by the health department, as many as 2028 were tested positive of the virus so far after screening of as many as 36218 persons were carried out in the district in which 30821 were tested negative
Attock, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 6th May, 2021 ) :As many as 1,820 coronavirus patients recovered from novel coronavirus (Covid-19) across the district so far, the district Health Department said. According to the data shared by the health department, as many as 2028 were tested positive of the virus so far after screening of as many as 36218 persons were carried out in the district in which 30821 were tested negative. The district Specialized Healthcare and Medical education Department sources said that at present there are 169 active patients are in the district in which 165 are under home isolation. Sources said that results of 117 persons are still awaited.
2 more vaccination centers to be established in Attock: Chief executive District health authority, Dr Jawad Ellahi has said that presently four vaccination centers are providing vacation facilities to the masses including Jand, Pindigheab, Attock city and Hasanabdal while two more COVID-19 vaccination centers would be established in Fatehjang and Hazro respectively. He added that the centre to establish in a bid to provide to ease the burden of influx of the people as well as to provide hassle free vacation facilities to the masses. He informed that so far 2497 front line health workers have been administered first dose and 1249 health workers have been administered second dose. While giving details of the COVId-19 vaccine administered to general public he said that so for 32449 persons got themselves registered from across the district and vaccine has been administered to as many as 21427 people across the district.
While giving details of the vaccination done he said that so for 15315 persons above sixty years of age have been registered and vaccine has been administered 13487 people in which as many as 10257 persons ageing between 50 and 60 years were registered and vaccine has been administered to 4698 persons. He added that 6877 persons ageing between 40 t0 50 years have been registered and vaccine has been administered to 745 as many as persons across the district. Replying a question Dr Ellahi said that ample stock of vaccine was available at all the vaccination centers and there is paucity of vaccine in the district. He said that maximum trained doctors, paramedics and other allied staff has been deputed at all the centers to ensure maximum facilitation to the people visiting these centers.
Meanwhile, the city administration in Hazro sealed as many as 13 shops over corona related SOPs violations. A team of local administration along with staff of municipal administration led Assistant Commissioner Hazro Shagufta Jabeen during monitoring bazaars and markets in different parts of the town paid surprise visits at various malls, shopping centers and banks and sealed as many as 13 shops over corona related SOPs violations. Fine was also imposed over hotel owners for not following coronavirus Standard Operating Procedures. Meanwhile a private school was sealed in Weesa village where the administration was conducting regular classes of the students despite government notification for closure of all educational institutions to curtail the spread of virus.
