19,310 Kanal Land Retrieved From Land Grabbers In Jhang

Deputy Commissioner Hafiz Shokat Ali Thursday said that 19,310 kanal land have been retrieved, during ongoing anti-encroachment campaign, so far in the district.

JHANG, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 18th Oct, 2018 ) :Deputy Commissioner Hafiz Shokat Ali Thursday said that 19,310 kanal land have been retrieved, during ongoing anti-encroachment campaign, so far in the district.

Talking to media here, he said the operation under "Clean and Green Program" was continued in all the four Tehsils of the district successfully.

He said that 19,310 kanal commercial and agriculture land worth Rs 1.8 billion has so far been retrieved from land grabbers. He said that 30 temporary and 125 permanent encroachments have been removed during the operations last week.

The DC said that tree plantation drive was also continued with full swing in the district.
