2-day Inter-institutional Competitions Held At AFI

RAWALPINDI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 20th Sep, 2019 ) :A two-day inter institutional competitions of speeches, national songs and tableaus held here in Anjuman Faizul islam (AFI) here on Friday.

These competitions were held in connection with the joint celebration of Independence Day, Defense Day and death anniversary of the Quaid-e-Azam.

The participants including boys and girls from the educational and technical institutions paid rich tributes to Quaid-e-Azam for organizing and leading the Muslims to achieve a separate homeland for Muslim in south Asia.

The students also paid rich tribute to armed forces for their courageous efforts and sacrifices in defending physical as well as ideological boundaries of the country and in maintaining peace in the country.

The children who presented tableaus also depicted the plight of the people of Indian occupied Kashmir and expressed solidarity with them.

The programme concluded with distribution of prizes to the students securing positions in speeches, national songs and tableaus competitions.
