203 'Khuli Ketchehries' Arranged This Year

Police have so far arranged 203 'Khuli Ketchehries' this year in which majority of problems were solved on the spot while the rest of grievances have been sent to the concerned police officers.

PESHAWAR, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 17th Nov, 2018 ) :Police have so far arranged 203 'Khuli Ketchehries' this year in which majority of problems were solved on the spot while the rest of grievances have been sent to the concerned police officers.

'Police Khuly Ketchehries' are being held continuously throughout the province where effective steps are being taken for the solution of problems of the people relating to police force.

According to details the Inspector General of Police (IGP) had directed all District Police Officers of the province to hold 'Khuly Ketchehry' at their respective headquarters regularly, said a press release issued here on Saturday.

They have further been directed to hold these Ketchehries in such places where large number of people can easily participate and present their problems.

In line of the directives of the IGP, the District Police Officers have so far arranged 203 Khuli Ketchehries in the current year.

Majority of the problems presented in the Ketcheries were solved on the spot while the rest have been sent to the concerned sections.

Thousands of people belonging to different walks of life participated in these open Ketchehries and everyone was given equal opportunity to present their issues.

The district wise break up of open Ketchehries are Peshawar seven, Mardan 19, Nowshera six, Swabi six, Charsadda nine, Swat 12, Buner three, Shangla 12, Dir Lower seven, Dir Upper six, Chitral five, Kohat nine, Hangu nine, Karak one, Bannu six, Lakki Marwat two, DIKhan 13, Tank 14, Abbottabad nine, Haripur five, Mansehra three, Battagram 11, Lower Kohistan 13, Upper Kohistan 10, Kulai Pallas Kohistan three and Tor Ghar four.

It may be recalled that the general public are participating in these Ketchehries in large number and presenting their problems without any fear.

The IGP has also directed the police officers to fully publicise before holding these Ketchehries so that the people can be enable to participate in it.

It has also been directed that the complainant who has registered their complaint in different complaint cells in the province would be especially invited in the open Ketchehries for redressal of their grievances.

They have also been directed to ensure fool proof security for the participants of Ketcheries.

Likewise, they have also been directed to make video recording ofeach Ketchehry. The minutes are also being prepared and kept in record.
