204,384 New Connections Provided

MULTAN, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 20th Jan, 2019 ) ::Multan Electric Power Company (Mepco) provided 204,384 new connections of different categories to consumers from July to December 2018.

Accoording to official sources, new connections are being provided on priority on the directions of Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Mepco Engineer Muhammad Akram Chaudhry.

The Mepco had provided 189,526 domestic, 9673 commercial, 900 industrial, 5635 tubewell, 133 general services and 517 other connections during July to December 2018.

The new connections including 24913 in Multan circle, 18847 in DG Khan circle, 15318 in Vehari, 32598 in Bahawalpur, 21340 in Sahiwal, 20230 in Rahim Yar Khan, 31936 in Muzaffargarh, 16869 in Bahawalnager and 22333 new connections were provided in Khanewal circle.
