215th Corps Commanders' Conference Reviews Geo-strategic Environment

RAWALPINDI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 13th Nov, 2018 ) :The 215th Corps Commanders' Conference was held here at the General Headquarters (GHQ) on Tuesday, said a press release issued here by Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR).

The forum, presided over by Chief of Army Staff (COAS), General Qamar Javed Bajwa reviewed geo-strategic environment and security situation of the country.

Progress of ongoing operations, fencing along Pak-Afghan border, situation along Eastern Border including Indian ceasefire violations, deliberately targeting innocent citizens were also discussed.

The forum reiterated to continue its efforts for bringing enduring peace in the country while supporting all initiatives towards regional peace.

The forum also expressed its resolve for continued support to all state institutions toensuring writ of the state and rule of law for peace, stabilityand prosperity of the country.
