25 Arrested For Violation Of Meat-holiday In Peshawar

District administration arrested 25 proprietors of restaurants from Namak Mandi over selling meat in violation of meat-holiday here Wednesday.

PESHAWAR, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 21st Jun, 2018 ) :District administration arrested 25 proprietors of restaurants from Namak Mandi over selling meat in violation of meat-holiday here Wednesday.

The crackdown was launched on complaints regarding the violation of meat-holiday by most of the restaurants in the locality.

The officials of the district administration first visited the restaurants in garb of common citizens where they found the opened sale of meat in violation of meat holiday, which was followed by the arrest of the proprietors of 25 restaurants.

Deputy Commissioner (DC) Peshawar, Dr Imran Hamid Sheikh has directed stern action the selling ofmeat in violation of meat-holiday and showing no leniency against anyone.
